The Ghana Climate Innovation Center is a pioneering business incubator with a unique focus on developing SME ventures and entrepreneurs in Ghana’s Green Economy. With the mission to develop and support an exceptional set of transformational ventures and entrepreneurs, such initiatives are focused on five key economic sectors ( energy efficiency & renewable energy, solar power, climate-smart agriculture, domestic waste management, water management, and purification.)
SETECH was selected among cohort 4 of the GCIC entrepreneurs to receive entrepreneurial training, technology development support, proof of concept grants, mentorship, and peer exchange grants to be able to develop its innovative clean cookstove technology business to reach the minimum viable product ready for scaling up. Through GCIC SETECH came up on its feet and it is now recognized as a formidable clean cooking technology provider in Ghana.
With the support in helping manufacture and distribute our climate-smart and reliable thermoelectric powered biomass gasifier stove which uses other agro-waste, pellets and briquettes for cooking, we hope to impact lives in Ghana, Africa and beyond.
